Zambezi

At our exclusive kayak camp in november 2023, Adrian Mattern and Andi Brunner will guide you down the Zambezi river. They will give you tips, ensure safety and enjoy the warm water, pleasant temperatures and unique white water with you.

During this 12-day kayaking trip, you will significantly improve your paddling technique and will definitely overcome your excessive respect for "a lot of water". If the Zambezi still seems very impressive and intimidating on the first few trips, it gradually turns into a huge playground with countless opportunities to let off steam!

Enjoy top-class balancing water with Adrian Mattern and Andi Brunner!

Requirements for participation

In order to take part in our Zambezi kayak camp, you must be able to roll safely (under all circumstances), have experience on a powerful WW IV and be physically fit. Temperatures of around 35°C and the sunny weather - coupled with the long kayak route (around 25km a day) - demand a lot from us.

Not sure if this trip is for you? Then simply send us an e-mail. We'll be happy to help you with your decision!

The camp and the daily routine

We will be staying at Jollyboys Backpackers Hostel, known from countless videos and social media postings by the broadcasters. Jollyboys will pick you up directly at the airport in Livingstone, from where you can reach the accommodation in about 10 minutes.

Our daily routine will be similarly comfortable: the program includes a daily trip down the Zambezi, with its numerous rapids, countless playspots and wavetrains. We are always picked up directly from our accommodation in the morning and driven to the entry point. After a long day on the river, our shuttle will be waiting at the exit to take us back to the hostel. We can therefore concentrate fully on paddling and enjoy life to the full.
